Revisions Policy

Every package we sell includes a set number of revision rounds. This page explains how they work, what counts as a revision, and what happens if you want more. It sits alongside our refund policy, which covers cancellations and money back.

What a round actually is

A round is one consolidated set of changes, sent to us together, and applied together. It is not one change. You can ask for twenty amendments in a single round — colours, copy, spacing, image swaps, section order — and it still counts as one, provided they arrive as one list.

What burns rounds unnecessarily is drip-feeding: an email on Monday about the header, another on Tuesday about the footer. We will always tell you before we start work on a round, so nothing is used up without you knowing.

Revisions and new work are different things

A revision changes something we have already built. New work adds something that was not in the original brief. The distinction matters because one is included and the other is quoted separately.

Included as a revision: rewording copy, changing colours or fonts within your brand, resizing or replacing images, reordering sections, adjusting spacing and layout, correcting anything we got wrong.

Quoted as new work: additional pages beyond your package, a change of direction after a design has been approved, new functionality such as booking systems or payment integration, a rebrand mid-project, or content in a language we did not originally scope.

If your request falls near the line, we will say so before doing anything, and tell you what it would cost. We would rather have an awkward five-minute conversation than send an unexpected invoice.

Additional rounds

Extra revision rounds beyond those included are £35 per round. They are agreed and paid before the work is done, never billed afterwards.

If you find yourself needing several extra rounds, the more economical route is usually upgrading to the tier above, which includes more rounds as standard. We will point that out rather than letting you buy four extras at £35 apiece.

How to send revisions

Email your changes as a single numbered list. Screenshots with arrows on them are welcome and genuinely faster than describing a position in words. Please be specific: “make the hero bolder” can mean four different things, and we will only have to come back and ask.

Timing

Revision requests should reach us within 30 days of us delivering the draft they relate to. After that the project is treated as complete and further changes are quoted as new work.

We turn most rounds around within a few working days. Larger sites take longer, and we will tell you when to expect it rather than leaving you guessing.

Approval and handover

When you confirm you are happy, we treat the work as approved and move to handover — files, access, and a walkthrough where your package includes one. Any unused revision rounds lapse at that point; they are not refundable and cannot be saved for later.

If something is wrong rather than not to your taste

Revision rounds cover preferences. They are not what you use when we have made a mistake. Broken links, a page that does not work on mobile, something that does not match what was agreed — we fix those at no cost and they do not consume a round. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 we owe you reasonable care and skill, and that is not something a revision limit can cap.
